QA Engineer Glasgow – Hybrid Our client have a really interesting story and have successfully grown over the last 10 years. They are committed to delivering high-quality software solutions, within an area critical to hospitals and education. We are looking for a talented QA Engineer with a strong background in both automation and manual testing to ensure the products meet the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright and Selenium. Perform thorough manual testing to identify and document defects. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans. Identify, record, and track bugs through to resolution. Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes. Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system reliability and scalability. Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in QA, with a mix of automation and manual testing. Proficiency in test automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium. Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other automation tools like Cypress or WebdriverIO. Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
