Due to ambitious growth plans for 2024 and beyond, they are looking to add Data Security Engineers to their team that can work with clients on managing insider risk management and data loss prevention using Microsoft Purview and associated tools. This can be a home-based role anywhere in the UK.
This will require someone who knows Data Security and how it is implemented and managed while being capable of recommending solutions to a varied client base.
Position
- Facilitate client on-boarding to the centralised Managed Data Security Platform.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Purview, focusing on Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, and Information Protection, ensuring seamless requirements delivery.
- Assess client environments, providing strategic recommendations to reduce information security risks through targeted Data Security policy implementation.
- Develop, implement, and perform functional testing of Data Loss Prevention and Insider Risk Management policies within client environments.
- Provide Continuous Improvement services for ongoing client engagement.
- Advance client Data Security maturity by fine-tuning and enhancing Classifiers, Data Loss Prevention, and Insider Risk Management policies.
- Work with SOC and client to manage, update, and optimize client configurations and support advanced incident triage, investigation, and remediation for client configurations.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for client configurations and the Managed Data Security service.
- Stay current with industry best practices and expand expertise in security and compliance.
Requirements
- Strong ability to communicate modern concepts in information classification, data leakage prevention, and risk management, specifically within Microsoft Security and Compliance services.
- Skilled in producing technical and architectural documentation, such as Design Documents, Operating Models, and Solution Specifications.
- Hands-on experience with deploying Microsoft Purview services in production, focusing on Data Loss Prevention and Insider Risk Management.
- In-depth understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Knowledgeable about regulatory compliance standards relevant to organisations using cloud services and involved in data processing (e.g., GDPR, DPA).
- Proactive and client-focused approach with a strong commitment to problem-solving.
