A growing and market leader in the HVAC industry is seeking a Test Technician to join the Southampton based team.
Your Role:
- Preparing the equipment ready for the hire fleet
- Preparing ancillary equipment for specific customer requirements
- Ensuring that returned hire equipment is cleaned, tested and repaired
- Making customisations to hire equipment for rental purposes
- Identifying and reporting repairs that are required
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed at all times
You MUST Have:
- Experience within a similar role
- Possession of an electrical bias
- Experience in forklift driving is an advantage
- Good IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach to work and working patterns
- Strong organisational capabilities
Your Opportunity:
The organisation has decades of experience within their sector, covering both the sale and rental market for their manufacturing products. The person in this role will be ensuring that equipment is maintained and setting up test products before re-hire and installation. A key focus of this role will be on hire cooling equipment and ancillaries including pumps and heat exchangers.
This company is offering a starting salary in the range of £27,000 - £32,000, which will be highly dependent on previous experience, relevant skills and technical knowledge. This will also accompany a peripheral package that will include a good holiday allocation, pension and additional rewards. There will also be a good option for overtime. For the position holder, excellent opportunities for development and progression will be on offer too, with a strong training regimen in place from day one.
