Your Company: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced 33kV High Voltage Jointer to join a growing engineering business, working in the Stourbridge area and supporting projects across the power distribution and utilities sector.
Your Role: While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Carrying out jointing and termination works on high-voltage cable systems up to and including 33kV
- Installing, testing and commissioning HV cable systems in accordance with industry standards and client specifications
- Undertaking cable fault-finding and repair activities across HV distribution networks
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures, industry regulations and health & safety requirements
- Reading and interpreting network drawings, schematics and technical documentation
- Liaising with project managers, site supervisors and network operators to coordinate planned works and project activities
- Completing testing records, commissioning documentation and technical reports accurately and efficiently
- Supporting the successful delivery of major infrastructure and power distribution projects
You MUST Have: Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrable experience as a High Voltage Jointer working on networks up to and including 33kV
- Relevant HV jointing authorisations, certifications and competencies
- Strong understanding of high-voltage cable systems, jointing techniques, testing and commissioning procedures
- Previous experience within utility, power distribution or infrastructure environments
- Ability to work independently whilst also contributing effectively within a team environment
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Full UK Driving Licence
