This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional to take on a nationally focused role, providing technical service and support across a diverse range of customer sites.

Role and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Attending customer sites nationally to undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance, breakdowns, warranty work, hire activities and commissioning.
- Diagnosing faults and system problems across relevant HVAC equipment and determining appropriate repair and maintenance solutions.
- Carrying out first-fix activities and responding effectively to multiple service callouts across a wide geographical area.
- Working with packaged rooftop units and associated HVAC systems, including equipment incorporating advanced controls and energy-efficient technologies.
- Using specialist diagnostic software, applications, hand tools, engineering specifications and technical documentation to diagnose, maintain and repair equipment.
- Ensuring all maintenance and service activities are completed efficiently and to a consistently high technical standard.
- Maintaining clear and accurate records of completed works and producing reports relating to service activities and work orders.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted technical point of contact while working on customer sites.
- Working closely with the Service Desk, Sales and Operations teams to ensure customer requirements and technical information are communicated effectively.
- Maintaining regular communication with supervisors, Regional Service Managers, senior technicians and customers regarding job progress, technical issues and service updates.
- Supporting the identification and implementation of improvements to technical and operational processes.
- Participating in a planned standby and on-call rota, including weekdays, weekends and bank holidays where required.
- Travelling extensively throughout the UK, including overnight stays during the working week, with flexibility to undertake longer-distance travel as required.
- Working safely and professionally at all times and ensuring company and customer procedures are followed.
What You Will Need To Apply:
- Proven experience working within a service engineering, field service or similar technical technician role.
- Category 1 F-Gas qualification, including City & Guilds 2079 Level 2 or equivalent.
- COCN1, CIGA1 and ICPN1 certification.
- Strong light commercial HVAC experience, ideally within a retail environment.
- Practical first-fix experience and the ability to manage multiple customer callouts across a large geographical area.
- Experience working on packaged rooftop units and a good understanding of modern HVAC systems and their associated controls.
- Knowledge of rooftop systems incorporating smart controls, energy-efficient technology and compatibility with building management systems would be advantageous.
- Strong technical diagnosis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify faults and determine effective solutions.
- Confident using diagnostic software, mobile applications, technical systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and customer-focused approach.
- The ability to build strong relationships with customers and communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- The confidence to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of service.
- Flexibility to participate in scheduled standby and callout arrangements, including weekends and bank holidays.
- A full UK driving licence, with a company vehicle provided for the role.
- The right to work in the UK.
- A professional, reliable and proactive approach to customer service and technical delivery.
