Senior Systems Engineer

NET Recruit is supporting a technology business who are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team in the Bournemouth area.Your Role:While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:

• Ensuring customer requirements are translated into software requirements where proposed solution architecture, operational needs and platform suitability for software testing are all covered
• Undertaking tasks on behalf of the company with third parties including requirement gathering, design reviews and integration activities
• Reviewing solutions to ensure they meet the functional requirements set out, including both customer and internal needs
• Providing technical advice and system level guidance for internal departments
• Maintaining the requirements baseline for each product
• Meeting the requirements for the company quality management system
• Ensuring knowledge of specialist technical topics is maintained and updated, meaning that any technical projects can be completed
• Leading the process improvement plan for the systems team

You MUST Have:Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:

• Strong knowledge of engineering practices, methods, tools and processes particularly for requirements engineering and solution architecting
• Sound knowledge of systems engineering best practices
• An understanding of ATC operational protocols and procedures
• Experience using Windows operating systems
• Confident communication abilities, with experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience handling customer requirements on system components and experience in preparing detailed requirement specifications for software development and testing
• Knowledge of ATC/ATM environments
• Knowledge of requirements management tools
