Job Description
NET Recruit are partnering with a highly successful business to search for a Rate and Data Manager in Basingstoke.Your RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Leading configuration and governance of rate changes across workstreams, supporting over £1 billion in managed spend
- Overseeing accurate upkeep of pay structures, including worker pay rates, vendor-neutral charges, and supplier margin controls
- Aligning rate data setup with commercial agreements from new customer onboarding, ensuring consistency with agreed terms
- Maintaining contractual accuracy across all rate elements, including statutory contributions (employer NI, apprenticeship levy, WTR holiday), supplier uplifts, fees, and discounts such as rebates and gainshares
- Coordinating and delivering global rate updates, including annual pay awards, RPI-linked contract adjustments, and statutory revisions like minimum wage or national insurance changes
- Collaborating with Product, Strategy, and Portfolio teams to roll out system enhancements and global updates aligned with development cycles
- Driving governance through formal change control processes, including chairing change boards, overseeing approvals, and championing continuous improvement
- Spotting inefficiencies in current tools and processes, implementing changes to enhance team productivity and data reliability
- Managing a team of Change Control Executives, monitoring ticket queues and ensuring service levels are consistently met
- Partnering with Project Management, Growth, and Finance functions to ensure contractually agreed rate elements are loaded with precision during new client implementations
- Escalating data-related risks to the business and leading resolution planning to maintain accuracy and compliance
- Sharing regular insights and reports with internal and external stakeholders, highlighting trends, ticket metrics, and data quality indicators
You MUST HavePlease apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
- Possession of a degree in either Business, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Experience in rate management
- Exposure to transactional HR, workforce solutions or vendor-neutral environments
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in being able to tailor the delivery and content of information for specific audiences
- Outstanding data management abilities
- Good leadership exposure and skills
- Good related systems knowledge including HubSpot, Prism, Monday.com etc and the ability to pick up new systems easily
- Additional strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, as well as SQL and knowledge of XML/JSON data structure

The position holder will join the PMO team and will take oversight for maintaining worker pay rates, statutory charges, supplier margins, and other commercial elements, while also supporting new customer onboarding and ongoing data integrity.This business will offer the successful candidate a starting salary of up to £60,000, which will be highly dependent on previous experience and relevant knowledge pertinent to the role.
