Your Company: A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Purchase Ledger Manager to join its team in Poole. Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger function.
  • Line manage, develop, and support the Purchase Ledger team, including performance management and appraisals.
  • Maintain a hands-on approach to invoice, credit note, and supplier transaction processing.
  • Oversee and validate BACS payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage supplier reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Oversee expenses, petty cash, and company credit card processes.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and financial controls.
  • Collaborate with Sales Ledger and Credit Control, supporting cash flow management.
