A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Chiller Engineer to join the team, supporting clients across Greater London.
Your Roles and Responsibilities
- Supporting Air Source Heat Pump installations alongside an AC Fitter
- Carrying out plumbing works relating to HVAC systems
- Conducting chlorination, sealed system testing and minor plumbing repairs (e.g. pumps and valves)
- Performing inspections, fault-finding and maintenance on plumbing fixtures, systems and associated equipment
- Installing mechanical or plumbing systems as required
- Responding to urgent call-outs and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary engineers to address complex problems
- Maintaining accurate job records and material usage
- Delivering a high standard of customer service during all site visits
What You Will Need To Apply:
- Proven experience in plumbing, ideally within commercial or site-based environments
- Relevant plumbing accreditations, such as City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing and NVQ Level 3 Plumbing
- Good working knowledge of mechanical equipment and installations
- Experience with or interest in ASHP technology (advantageous but not essential)
- Ability to read CAD plans and use IT systems confidently
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
- Problem-solving ability and sound decision-making skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to work across varying site conditions
- A valid driving licence and CSCS skills card
- Gas qualifications are beneficial but not required
