The business continues to evolve and invest in its finance function and is seeking a technically strong Finance Manager to join its Group Finance team based in Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take ownership of statutory reporting, technical accounting and financial control activities within a complex, multi-entity environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of the Group's financial reporting while supporting business growth, regulatory compliance and continuous process improvement.
Your Roles Responsibilities: While in this position your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing statutory accounts for Group and subsidiary entities in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Managing the month-end and year-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Overseeing the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process and identifying financial risks and control weaknesses
- Supporting the preparation of consolidated financial statements and group reporting requirements
- Managing accounting activities relating to areas such as lease accounting, intercompany transactions, and more.
