Your Role and Responsibilities: While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Leading supplier contract management across the full lifecycle (drafting, negotiation, execution, renewal and termination)
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of contracts, from high-value multimillion-pound agreements to smaller SME and ad hoc contracts
  • Owning and driving procurement activity, ensuring value for money and risk mitigation across all supplier engagements
  • Leading complex commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Developing and maintaining contract management frameworks, governance processes and reporting
  • Overseeing supplier onboarding processes, ensuring regulatory and policy adherence (including AML and due diligence requirements)
  • Monitoring supplier performance, identifying improvement opportunities and managing contractual risk
  • Driving cost efficiencies and budget oversight, including invoice validation and commercial challenge where required
  • Line management and development of one Contract Analyst
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships across the business, acting as a trusted commercial advisor

What You Will Need To Apply:

  • Strong experience in supplier contract management and procurement
  • Demonstrable experience negotiating a range of contract sizes and complexities
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members (line management experience highly desirable)
  • Commercially astute, solution-focused and confident operating autonomously
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • CIPS qualification desirable but not essential
