Your Company: An exciting opportunity has become available within a growing and highly respected engineering organisation specialising in HVAC solutions. The business delivers tailored technical projects across a range of commercial and manufacturing environments and is continuing to invest in its project delivery capabilities. As part of this continued growth, the company is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join its experienced team in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual who enjoys managing complex engineering projects from initial concept through to completion while working closely with customers, suppliers and installation teams.
Your Roles & Responsibilities:
- Managing the full lifecycle of industrial cooling and HVAC projects from quotation through to completion
- Procuring equipment, materials and subcontracted services in line with project requirements
- Conducting site visits to assess installation requirements and provide technical recommendations
- Preparing detailed project quotations and cost proposals
- Producing project plans, identifying resource requirements and allocating responsibilities
- Coordinating equipment deliveries and subcontractor schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time
- Managing installation and commissioning activities on customer sites
- Overseeing engineers, contractors and site teams throughout project delivery
- Ensuring all projects are completed in accordance with contractual obligations and customer expectations
- Managing project handovers and final documentation
- Troubleshooting technical issues and coordinating effective resolutions
- Participating in project reviews and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Monitoring project budgets, controlling costs and reporting on project performance
- Maintaining strong communication with customers and stakeholders throughout project delivery
What You Will Need to Apply:
The ideal candidate will possess previous project management experience within an engineering, HVAC, cooling, manufacturing or technical services environment. A strong commercial awareness combined with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively will be essential. Candidates should be confident providing technical guidance, coordinating resources and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Strong organisational and communication skills are required, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of manufacturing environments would be highly advantageous. Applicants must also hold a valid UK driving licence and have the right to work within the UK. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach, strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to lead projects through to successful completion while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
