What you will need to Apply: The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar commercial role, ideally gained within an engineering services, industrial, construction, fuel, or technical environment. Experience working with complex B2B customers and managing commercially important accounts would be highly advantageous. You will demonstrate a strong track record of developing customer relationships, retaining and growing existing business, and identifying new commercial opportunities. Strong commercial awareness is essential, together with excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. To succeed in this role, you will be confident dealing with customers and decision-makers at all levels and able to understand their requirements before translating these into appropriate commercial solutions. You will have a proactive and consultative approach to account management, with the ability to identify opportunities rather than simply respond to existing customer demand. Experience of working with CRM systems, maintaining sales pipelines, producing forecasts, and monitoring account performance will also be important. A background within an engineering or technical environment would be beneficial, although the ability to build strong relationships and demonstrate commercial success will be key. You will be a commercially driven, organised, and results-focused individual who enjoys developing long-term partnerships and contributing directly to business growth. The role will require someone who is comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with operational, technical, and senior management teams.
What you will get in Return: The company is offering a competitive salary, dependent on experience, alongside a KPI-driven bonus structure designed to reward strong account performance, customer retention, and revenue growth. Additional benefits include a pool vehicle, car allowance or electric vehicle scheme, and ongoing professional development opportunities. You will be joining a supportive and ambitious team within a growing engineering services business, where you will have genuine responsibility for some of the company's most important customer relationships. This role offers the opportunity to develop your commercial career while working closely with customers and internal teams across a specialist and technically focused industry. As the business continues to expand, there will be clear opportunities to take on greater responsibility and contribute to the wider commercial strategy.
