As part of its ongoing growth, the company is looking to appoint a Service Technician to join its field-based engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual who enjoys problem-solving, working directly with customers and delivering exceptional service across a varied portfolio of equipment and systems.
Your Roles & Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Attending customer sites to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive breakdown repairs, warranty work, commissioning activities and hire equipment support
- Diagnosing faults and identifying effective solutions across HVAC and cooling systems
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing equipment in line with manufacturer and company standards
- Using diagnostic software, specialist tools and engineering drawings to identify and resolve technical issues
- Managing service visits efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer service
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor
- Communicating effectively with Service Desk, Operations and Sales teams to provide updates and share customer insights
- Completing service reports and associated documentation accurately xgikmsk and in a timely manner
- Supporting commissioning activities and equipment installations where required
- Producing clear reports relating to completed and invoiced work orders
- Collaborating with Service Managers, Senior Technicians and colleagues to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring all work complies with company health and safety policies and industry regulations
