Your Role and Responsibilities: While in this position your duties may include but may not be limited to:

  • Taking ownership of IT service delivery across the organisation, ensuring systems, support services, and technical operations are managed effectively and consistently.
  • Developing and improving service delivery processes, introducing greater structure, visibility, and accountability across the IT function.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, prioritise technology demands, and ensure IT services remain aligned with operational needs.
  • Supporting the development, improvement, and modernisation of legacy systems as part of the organisation's wider period of technological change.
  • Coordinating projects, technical improvements, and operational activities to ensure priorities are clearly defined, progress is monitored, and potential blockers are addressed promptly.
  • Overseeing day-to-day IT support activity, ensuring incidents and service requests are appropriately prioritised and progressed within agreed service expectations.
  • Acting as a key escalation point for IT service issues, taking ownership of problems and driving them through to resolution.
  • Managing relationships with third-party IT suppliers and service providers, monitoring performance and ensuring agreed standards and commitments are maintained.
  • Working with technical teams to identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and the overall user experience.
  • Supporting the introduction of improved processes, systems, and ways of working to reduce reliance on reactive support and strengthen the overall IT service.
  • Providing clear visibility to senior stakeholders around service performance, ongoing initiatives, risks, priorities, and areas requiring further investment or improvement.
  • Contributing to the wider technology roadmap and helping the business transition from legacy ways of working towards a more structured and sustainable IT environment.

What you will need to Apply: The ideal candidate will be an experienced IT professional with a strong background in IT service delivery, service management, IT operations, or a similar environment.
