What we expect of you, day to day:

There are core teams for each of the pillars at a global level, plus each region has a head/team that adapts global programs and strategies to the local markets and drives region-specific strategy and initiatives.

The Analyst, Social Impact & Sustainability, will be expected to develop and leverage a robust understanding of the Social Impact and Sustainability ecosystems, combined with an understanding of Visa’s business and corporate objectives, and engage with other stakeholders and partners of Visa both functionally and regionally to ensure program success.

What you will uniquely own:

  • Content maintenance, development and delivery for the Social Impact & Sustainability internal and external web pages as well as external online and social content for the European region

  • Facilitating the creation and syndication of regular updates and reporting to all levels of Visa management on key metrics and objectives, including operational budget management

  • Design and delivery of the pan-European employee communication and education about the team’s solutions, programmes and value to clients, in partnership with key internal stakeholders and external partners

  • Understanding the Social Impact & Sustainability landscape and identify and report on trends that are relevant to Visa’s strategy, programmes, and objectives

What you will support across the team:

As a critical partner, you will be providing support across all strategic initiatives in Europe to enable individual programmes, coordinate cross-regional projects, manage external partnerships, and ensure our social impact and sustainability voice is embedded in client engagements across Europe. Here are a number supporting areas as examples:

  • Project management and supporting cross functional project teams working across the European region as well as the global Social Impact & Sustainability functions, ensuing effective and timely execution of activities

  • External partner management activities, cadence of engagements and meetings, and delivery of individual activities and larger projects

  • Supporting Social Impact & Sustainability’s input into Visa’s client engagements, presentations, and RFP responses in Europe

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and eager to identify opportunities and solve problems
Team player with a willingness to pitch in on a variety of projects and deliver high quality work with excellent attention to detail
Ability to synthesize complex ideas with a passion for developing clear, effective, and compelling presentations
Demonstrated creative problem solving with ability to collaborate and build consensus across stakeholders
Interest in developing rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations.
Great communication and presentation skills
Able to work independently, and with broad instructions
Strong teamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills
Project management experience
Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Prior experience in social impact and/or payments preferred
