Are you looking to build a career or gain work experience in education, business administration and operations? We are seeking a motivated and organised Business Administration and Operations Assistant to join the central services team at NET Academies Trust for a fixed-term period of one year. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with transferable skills, who is keen to gain broad experience across HR, recruitment, operations, administration and digital transformation. You’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth running of our Trust and schools, while developing valuable professional skills and insight into how education organisations operate.
About the role
- Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the Trust and its schools
- Support HR and recruitment processes, including onboarding of new staff
- Help improve systems and processes to increase efficiency and consistency
- Contribute to the Trust’s digital transformation, supporting effective use of technology and communication tools
- Provide flexible support across schools, including occasional on-site administrative cover where needed
You will also gain exposure to a wide range of activities, including supporting senior leaders, coordinating meetings and assisting procurement processes. This role involves working 37 hours per week over 41 weeks of the year, to be worked during term time, on inset days and with the remainder of the days worked in school holidays.
