As the Business Manager within the Brand Partnerships team at NET-A-PORTER, you will be a strategic and operational partner to the Global Head of Brand Partnerships, taking ownership of financial reporting, revenue forecasting, and budget management. This role is vital to ensuring the accuracy and transparency of all brand partnership revenue and investment data, enabling informed decision-making across the commercial and leadership teams. You will lead the Business Management team and act as a key liaison between Finance, Merchandising, and Brand Partnerships to support financial planning, pricing strategies, and brand deal structuring. Your insights will directly impact revenue growth, operational efficiency, and commercial effectiveness across NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER.

Here is a breakdown of what you'll be doing:

  • Financial Planning & Budget Management
    • Lead the financial planning process for the Brand Partnerships team, including annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting
    • Maintain up-to-date tracking of all partnership revenue, ensuring accurate allocation and timely reconciliation
    • Manage the weekly budget status updates and present findings in Brand Partnerships leadership meetings
    • Oversee reconciliation of revenue figures with Finance on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Revenue Forecasting & Analysis
    • Collaborate with the Sales, Finance, and Merchandising teams to forecast revenue from brand partners across product categories and marketing activations
    • Produce seasonal and ad hoc reports to support commercial planning and performance reviews
    • Track and analyze brand investment against product buys to provide a holistic view of partner value and ROI
    • Use data and insight to support the structuring of bespoke commercial deals and brand packages
  • Strategic Pricing & Deal Support
    • Contribute to pricing and rate card development using historical performance data and inventory analysis
    • Ensure that pricing structures align with broader business objectives and drive revenue optimization
    • Support the Global Head of Brand Partnerships with commercial preparation for high-value negotiations and planning meetings with key partners
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership
    • Manage the Business Management Team, providing leadership, coaching, and support to deliver accurate and timely reporting
    • Act as the central point of contact between Brand Partnerships and Finance to ensure consistent communication and accountability
    • Work closely with Merchandising to align on brand marketing commitments, seasonal plans, and buy budgets
    • Continuously improve internal processes and reporting tools to drive operational efficiency

The type of person we are looking for:

  • 4+ years of team management experience in a commercial, finance, or business operations role
  • Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting within a retail, e-commerce, or media environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modelling)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for internal presentations and reporting decks
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with exceptional organizational skills
  • Commercially minded, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with finance, sales, and merchandising teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
