We are looking for a highly creative and detail-driven Picture Editor to join MR PORTER’s Brand and Content team. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will lead the sourcing, management, and delivery of distinctive, high-quality imagery across all MR PORTER platforms, ensuring visual content remains innovative, on-brand, and industry-leading.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
- Lead the sourcing and delivery of original, high-quality imagery across digital, editorial, social, video, and marketing channels.
- Collaborate closely with Creative, Editorial, and Social teams to interpret briefs, contribute ideas, and support creative development.
- Build, maintain, and leverage strong relationships with photographers, image libraries, PRs, brands, and industry contacts.
- Manage image licensing, usage rights, copyright compliance, contracts, and negotiate competitive rates.
- Oversee image quality, credits, archiving systems, and maintain accurate records and reference libraries.
- Conduct forward-thinking visual research aligned with fashion trends, editorial themes, and brand direction.
- Manage and track picture budgets, monitor spend, and identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
- Continuously improve workflows, processes, and archive systems to enhance efficiency and creative output.

- Proven picture research experience in e-commerce, retail, or editorial environments.
- Strong eye for men’s fashion, designers, talent, and emerging trends.
- Excellent industry network across image libraries, PRs, and contributors.
- Solid understanding of licensing, copyright, usage rights, and negotiation.
- Strong budgeting, financial administration, and invoice management experience.
- Exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in digital imaging and Photoshop.
