Nest is seeking a Social Media Manager to help shape our social media presence. This is a role for someone who understands what makes content work in real feeds: someone creative, curious and confident enough to bring fresh ideas, spot opportunities and turn complex subjects into content people actually want to engage with.
Social media at Nest is moving into a more ambitious, social-first space, with a focus on platform-native storytelling, short-form video, and creative experimentation routed in audience insight. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping us make pensions feel more relevant, engaging and useful, while maintaining the trust, accuracy and credibility our audiences expect.
The minimum criteria for this role are:
- Experience working in a social media role, either in-house or agency-side.
- Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and how content, audiences and best practice differ by channel.
- Experience developing and delivering social media content, content plans or campaigns.
- Experience creating, reviewing or optimising social media content and copy, including short-form video content.
- Experience using social media insights, analytics or reporting to inform recommendations and improve performance.
- Experience managing incoming social media messages, identifying customer service issues or reputational risks, and escalating these appropriately.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities and deadlines.
At Nest, you’ll have access to a range of learning opportunities to learn, grow and build the skills you need to be successful in your role and career.
Flexible and agile working: Everyone's personal situation is different. To make the most out of hybrid working, we've introduced different ways of working, which include (subject to role requirements): hybrid of office (Canary Wharf, London) and home working (there will be an expectation to attend the office, once - twice a week, or more, as required).
Nest is a great government delivery success story. Established in 2010, Nest has been a critical pillar of the government’s automatic enrolment pension programme, with a public service obligation to accept any employer wishing to use the scheme to discharge their automatic enrolment duties.
Our award-winning pension fund is tailored to members’ requirements by combining extensive research and an expert understanding of their needs. First-class investment practice and governance are the backbone of our organisation. We invest responsibly and sustainably and are always transparent about the choices we make. It is both a privilege and a responsibility to help each of our members achieve the retirement they want.
It’s important that Nest has an equally diverse workforce and promotes an inclusive culture. This is in line with the organisation’s values and ensures that Nest is a corporation fit for the future. The Nest Experience directorate is responsible for developing and evolving the propositions for our customers, for the service and experience that they enjoy and working with our delivery partners to ensure their data and assets are kept safe.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Everyone is welcome to apply for our roles, and we are determined to ensure that no applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment because of their age, disability, gender identity, marital status, national origin, pregnancy or caring responsibilities, race, religion/belief, sex, sexual orientation or socio-economic background.
We also recognise the importance of diversity of thought and other forms of neurocognitive variation. Nest is a Disability Confident Leader, which is the highest level of the Disability Confident Scheme. If you have a disability, please declare that you’re applying through the scheme. We aim to offer an interview to those applicants who apply through the Disability Confident Scheme and best meet the minimum criteria.
However, there may be some circumstances where this is not possible due to the volume of applications. Please note that this advert may close early if we receive a sufficient number of satisfactory applications.
