Enterprise Data Programme Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Enterprise Data Programme Manager (FTC) to lead the delivery of our enterprise-wide data transformation agenda. In this pivotal senior leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of complex, interconnected data initiatives that drive business value and support our long-term organisational strategy. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will ensure data programmes are aligned to corporate objectives and delivered to the highest standards.

You will provide strong leadership across multiple projects and workstreams, collaborating with Programme Managers, Project Managers, technical teams, business stakeholders, our Scheme Administration Provider (TCS), and external partners to successfully deliver transformational change. As Enterprise Data Programme Manager, you will be accountable for setting priorities, managing programme governance, and ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with business and customer needs.

You will play a key role in enhancing our data capabilities, governance, and infrastructure, helping to turn data into a strategic advantage for the organisation. This role requires exceptional programme leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and delivery expertise. You will be a champion of programme and project management best practice, with the ability to drive high-performing teams and exemplary ways of working. Line management responsibilities may also form part of the role.

This role has end-to-end accountability for a portfolio of approximately 10 major data initiatives, spanning data platform transformation, data governance, analytics enablement, customer insight capabilities, regulatory and corporation reporting, operational data management and data quality. Operating at an “enterprise” scope across the Corporation, the Data Programme Director will provide leadership across multiple programme and project teams, leading a team of Project Managers, delivery resources and external partners.

The role will establish programme governance, drive benefits realisation and ensure strategic alignment between business outcomes, technology delivery and data transformation objectives.

The minimum criteria for this role are:

• 5+ years in delivering programmes (not as project managers)
• Demonstrate high levels of experience in delivering large complex data change initiatives and external supplier/service management capability, specifically in complex environments
• Experience of building teams (either directly or indirectly, through matrix management)
• Strong conceptual understanding of modern data stack elements.
• Working knowledge of data privacy regulations

The Service and Experience Change Programme team is responsible for delivering scheme related change by ensuring that technology, service, organisational and operational change is implemented in a controlled, timely and commercial manner.

• Configuration Management

The team also support the Executive Committee with preparation for various boards and other governance functions.
