Neston High School is seeking a reliable, proactive and skilled Caretaker to join our dedicated site team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting a high-performing school by maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and the wider community. About the role

This is a varied, hands‑on position where no two days are the same. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the school buildings and grounds to a high standard
  • Ensuring site security, including opening/closing and responding to call‑outs
  • Carrying out repairs, maintenance and general upkeep
  • Supporting health and safety compliance across the site
  • Assisting with lettings, events and occasional minibus driving

The role operates on a shift basis (early and late shifts), with some weekend working and participation in a call‑out rota. We welcome applications from candidates seeking full‑time hours and would also consider offering this role on a part‑week basis through a job share arrangement.

About you
