We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Finance Manager to lead a Finance team based in our York office. The Sales Finance team supports all of the UK sales teams and the Order to Cash end-to-end process. Leading a team of approximately 13 members, you will work closely with the Commercial Excellence team, the wider Sales function, Sales Controlling, and the Order to Cash Centres of Competence (CoC) and Scale (CoS), providing best-in-class Finance support, guidance, and governance.
Your impact as a Sales Finance Manager will involve:
- Driving team capability and instilling a right first-time mindset
- Achieving lead time targets for deduction clearance
- Supporting the resolution of customer disputes
- Ensuring that aged accruals are managed in a timely fashion and reduced as quickly as possible
- Ensuring that trade spend events are settled in a timely fashion to support post-evaluation
Your ingredients for success include:
- A track record of motivating and developing people
- Demonstrated success in a 'Commercial Finance' role previously
- Strong influencing, communication, networking, and analytical skills
- Previous line management experience (either at Nestlé or prior) would be preferable
- The ability to lead, develop, and motivate finance teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Strong ownership of finance processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and control
- Effective use of financial systems and data to enable insight and decision-making
- Solid technical and commercial finance expertise
