Overview: Nutrition Analyst role within the Nutrition, Health & Wellness team (NHW). The role involves monitoring and reporting, analysing recipes to ensure nutritional responsibility, and supporting product approval and employee wellness. You will work with a team of nutrition professionals across food and drink categories, emphasising open communication to achieve common goals. The role supports inclusion and diversity commitments and is aligned with Nestlé’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Nutritional Analysis & Product Benchmarking: Conduct nutritional assessments of Nestlé products, benchmarking against competitors and internal targets to inform product briefs and recipe development.
  • Data Quality & Product Information Management: Collaborate with Product Information teams to improve data accuracy and availability across systems. Maintain NHW product information in internal systems and share externally (e.g., Brandbank); assist sales teams with data requests.
  • Regulatory & HFSS Compliance Support: Act as the primary guardian of HFSS data, maintaining accurate and accessible information for customers and internal teams.
  • Recipe & Content Validation: Analyze recipes and partner with marketing, chefs, and content developers to ensure alignment with UK nutritional guidelines and that responsible nutrition information appears on websites and communications.
  • Wellness Advocacy & Internal Engagement: Champion Nestlé’s Wellness agenda by working with catering teams, creating resources, presenting at meetings, writing newsletters, and organising internal wellbeing events. Facilitate monitoring and reporting and ensure easy accessibility of information both internally and externally.

Requirements: To be successful, you’ll have a strong grounding in nutrition, gained through an AfN-accredited degree or a Food Science degree with nutrition. Experience in nutrition or food analysis is desirable but not essential. Strong communication, attention to detail, and digital capability (particularly Excel). Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. A genuine passion for nutrition, health and wellness, and curiosity about external trends and public health developments. Experience from an internship or industrial placement is a bonus.
