Overview

In this role you lead and support capital investment and site-improvement projects at Nestlé Dalston, collaborating across Safety, Quality, Engineering and Production. You drive projects from design through handover, ensuring on-time delivery, safe execution and lasting impact on site performance and sustainability. You’ll tackle diverse initiatives—from water infrastructure upgrades to energy efficiency and capacity enhancements—while supporting asset start-up and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capital investment projects from concept to installation and handover
  • Deliver engineering solutions to improve reliability, performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Safety for successful outcomes
  • Ensure activities meet safety, regulatory and site standards, supporting zero-accident goals
  • Support start-up, documentation and handover to operations

Key requirements

  • Experience delivering engineering projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing capital investment (CapEx) projects, budgets and procurement
  • Engineering degree or recognised apprenticeship in a relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of CDM, PUWER, LOLER, PSSR and contractor management
  • Strong stakeholder, influence and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with continuous improvement mindset and adaptability
