Product Management Team
At Tails.com, our product managers work directly with cross‐functional squads that include engineers, designers, delivery managers, researchers, data analysts and more. We balance customer mindset with commercial focus, delivering outcomes and constantly adapting.
The Role
This Senior Product Manager role focuses on building and evolving the core Commerce Platforms that underpin our customer experience and commercial operations. You own a platform domain, working closely with experts to deliver robust, scalable capabilities such as order generation, while aligning technical work to clear business and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own the Commerce Platforms product vision and roadmap, aligning it with customer experience and business priorities.
- Partner with squads to deliver resilient, high‐impact capabilities that support core customer journeys and commercial outcomes.
- Work with squad leads and engineers to rebuild and evolve critical systems (e.g., order generation) for robustness, scalability and operational efficiency.
- Define clear customer and business outcomes by linking backend services to the experiences they enable.
- Apply discovery practices and agile ways of working to deliver value early, learn quickly, and iterate continuously.
- Balance short‐term delivery needs with long‐term platform health, making trade‐offs explicit and well‐communicated.
- Maintain a high‐quality product backlog with clear context, priorities and acceptance criteria.
- Communicate how your platform domain aligns with the broader strategy, informing stakeholders of progress and impact through storytelling and collaboration.
