Media Lead – UKI Marketing
We are recruiting for a Media Lead to join our UKI Marketing team.
This is a temporary opportunity reporting into the Head of Media Communications.
This role is responsible for driving media excellence across the internal media team, ensuring that media investments are informed by robust analytics, insights, and performance measurement.
This role bridges strategic media planning with data operations, enabling smarter decisions and continuous improvement in media effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead category media strategy across Europe, improving performance, consistency and return on investment across markets.
- Develop ad guide holistic media strategies across channels (TV, digital, search, programmatic, retail media).
- Translate category strategy into clear media plans and toolkits for local markets.
- Drive media investment optimisation across brands, portfolios and markets.
- Set and track KPIs, benchmarks and performance frameworks to improve effectiveness.
- Partner with agencies, publishers and internal teams to deliver best‑in‑class media capabilities and innovation.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Strong media expertise, ideally within FMCG or a fast‑paced consumer environment.
- Proven experience in media strategy, planning and/or agency management.
- Deep knowledge of the digital media landscape, including search, programmatic and retail media.
- Strong ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategy.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across cross‑functional and international teams.
- A collaborative, proactive mindset with the ability to influence and drive change in a complex environment.
