We have an exciting opportunity to join Nestlé UK as Digital Commerce Manager, working in deep partnership with our most strategic UK grocery retail customers to create joint value and accelerate Nestlé's online market share growth. The role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, digital decision‑making, and customer partnership. While the commercial account team retains full P&L ownership, this role is designed to create disproportionate impact by shaping how online decisions are prioritised and executed within the retailer – building structural digital advantage for Nestlé. This is a high‑visibility role with direct exposure to senior customer and Nestlé stakeholders. You will operate as a trusted advisor, influencing long‑term growth levers rather than managing day‑to‑day execution.

  • Act as Nestlé's digital decision partner within a strategic retail customer, operating with credibility and autonomy.
  • Identify and translate cross‑category Nestlé learnings into actionable recommendations that improve online visibility, relevance, and conversion.
  • Influence how the retailer prioritises products, availability, substitution, and recommendation decisions in high‑intent moments.
  • Work closely with Nestlé Senior Account Managers, Account Controllers, Brand, Category, Supply Chain, and Media teams to ensure alignment with agreed decision principles.
  • Establish and maintain clear governance, success metrics, and learning loops for the partnership.
  • Support the development of scalable playbooks and frameworks that can be applied across other customers over time.
  • Provide clear, evidence‑based recommendations that improve speed and quality of decision‑making.
  • Monitor external trends, competitor behaviour, and emerging technologies to ensure Nestlé remains ahead of market evolution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated commercial impact in a customer or category role, with experience operating and orchestrating across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Strong influencing capability.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Experience working with large retail or consumer‑facing customers.
  • Ability to analyse complex information, identify patterns, and translate insight into clear recommendations.
  • Highly customer‑centric, always seeking to create value for both Nestlé and partners.
  • Entrepreneurial, innovative mindset – willing to think differently and challenge established ways of working.
  • Comfortable operating without formal authority, relying on credibility, evidence, and relationships.
  • Strong commitment to learning and personal development.

Benefits

  • Attractive salary with potential discretionary annual bonus.
  • Generous pension scheme.
  • 12 flexible days on top of 25 days annual holiday entitlement pro rata.
  • 2 paid volunteering days.
  • Focus on personal development and growth.
