Position Summary
Here at Nestlé Purina, we are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join us, as a Digital Performance & Operations Lead, reporting into the Head of Digital. In this role, you will take the lead in driving our digital marketing technology roadmap and supporting our ambitious digital goals across the Purina UK&I brand portfolio. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, integration, and implementation of Purina UK's digital marketing technology roadmap.
A day in the life of a Digital Performance & Operations Lead… With a focus on digital performance, you will play a key role in driving our digital ambition and shaping the future of our business. This role will enable our marketing brand teams to achieve their digital ambitions, including initiatives related to Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Salsify, website improvements, and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Digital Marketing Technology Roadmap: Lead the planning and execution of the Digital Marketing Technology Roadmap to support marketing initiatives and enhance digital capabilities.
- Project Management: Act as both Project Manager and Product Owner for key marketing technology projects, ensuring alignment with Purina UKI’s strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Champion Purina UKI's digital ambitions by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including Purina Studios, EMENA Brand & Comms, and Nestlé Global IT Teams.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure adherence to legal and security standards across consumer data and digital platforms, including GDPR and data privacy regulations.
- Website Management: Serve as the Technical Product Owner for Purina UKI websites, leading the development of functionalities that meet current and future brand needs.
- Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring quality, accuracy, and cost-effective practices in technical and CRM projects.
- Measurement Framework: Support the development of a cohesive measurement framework and dashboards for Marketing and CX teams, helping to define the value of data across the consumer funnel.
- Data Integration: Lead the consolidation of consumer PII data feeds, ensuring compliance and alignment with our eCRM strategy.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on Nestlé developments in technology solutions to leverage opportunities for Purina UKI’s digital evolution.
What will make you successful
We are looking for an experienced Digital Data & Technology professional, ideally qualified to degree level (or equivalent). You’ll have extensive experience across the Digital ecosystem including search, content, websites, CRM, channels, and platforms and proven ability to lead the digital roadmap and implementation to enable business & brand strategies. Results-focused and enthusiastic about working in a highly energetic and exciting environment, you’ll also have:
- Strong web analytics knowledge and experience.
- Project and budget management experience.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and project management tools.
- Technical knowledge of web development, CMS solutions, and basic HTML/CSS.
- Experience in managing multi-channel Digital projects with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Data and Analytics, with the ability to turn technical jargon into business-friendly language.
- Familiarity with Google stack, including Google Analytics, GTM, Search Console and Optimise.
And finally, you will feel comfortable to challenge the status quo, have a real passion to learn and understand the importance of building positive relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. Coupled with this you will thrive in an environment that is often ambiguous, learning how to navigate yourself and stakeholders to positive solutions.
