Location: Gatwick (Hybrid 2-3 times a week)

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Brand Manager to join STARBUCKS At Home team in the Coffee business based in Gatwick. This role reports to STARBUCKS At Home Lead for UK & Ireland with responsibility for delivering STARBUCKS At Home Masterbrand initiatives as well as managing STARBUCKS by NESPRESSO range.

NESTLÉ and STARBUCKS are celebrating seven years of their Global Coffee Alliance, established in 2018 between the two companies. Since then, in the UK we have delighted over 2 million STARBUCKS fans with our ranges of Frothy coffees, STARBUCKS pods for NESPRESSO and NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto machines – becoming one of the biggest markets in Zone Europe. When joining us, you will be part of our wider Portioned Marketing team and will collaborate closely with STARBUCKS Global and Zone Europe teams as well as interact with STARBUCKS Coffee House partners to deliver best in class plans.
A Day in the Life of a Brand Manager…
You will have responsibility for developing and executing our UK market strategy for the STARBUCKS At Home portfolio:
- Know Your Consumer Deeply: develop a good understanding of STARBUCKS shoppers and overall Portioned coffee category to effectively localise Global innovation pipeline and consumer activations, monitor NPD performance across all retailers as well as Ratings & Reviews and consumer sentiment. Closely monitor coffee category and competitor activity, to ensure plans are relevant.
- Create Engaging Brand Experiences: in partnership with Global team, lead the planning and execution of UK STARBUCKS Masterbrand/Seasonal and STARBUCKS by Nespresso campaigns across Media, PR & Influencers and Shopper. Collaborate with UK STARBUCKS Coffee Houses to create locally & culturally relevant joint-up activations. Work with Shopper, CDT & Sales teams to create unmissable visibility plans in-store and online. Constantly evaluating the effectiveness of marketing programmes.
- Plan and Execute Flawlessly: lead the execution of 18-months UK brand plan collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver growth initiatives for STARBUCKS by NESPRESSO. Lead brand performance tracking against KPIs and targets, carefully manage PFME budget.
- Innovate Bigger, Better, Bolder: deliver localisation and commercialisation of global I&R pipeline including developing commercial proposition, supervising all packaging artworks and brand assets localisation.
- STARBUCKS brand guardian & ambassador: manage STARBUCKS At Home digital eco-system with full ownership of Influencer and Social media plans, website and social channels as well as Digital shelf optimisation. Champion passion for the brand with wider Coffee, Nespresso and Nestlé UK & Ireland teams creating unique brand experiences for our retail customers, consumers and colleagues from impactful customer sells & HQ events to internal launches & tastings.
What will make you successful?
You are already a STARBUCKS fan and have a passion for great coffee, creating powerful connections and storytelling. Ideally, you have already some fantastic marketing experience under your belt whilst being very commercially astute and enjoying building strong relationships internally and externally. You will also have:
- Strong track record of building & delivering engaging brand activations
- Experience of managing partnerships and Influencers / Creators programmes
- Solid project management & analytical skills, ability to fully own workstreams from concept to delivery
- Experience managing product portfolio, delivering new product launchesAbility to influence multiple stakeholders at different levels both internally and externally and demonstrate strong presentation skills engaging different audiences.
