Location: Gatwick (Hybrid working – office days 2/3 times a week)
Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25 day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Brand Manager to work as part of the Nestlé Purina Pet Care business.

A day in the life of a Brand Manager…
Ultimately, you will be responsible for defining the brand strategy and build long-term plans to achieve our ambitions aligned with the wider business vision; gaining exposure to all elements of the marketing mix and more. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensure marketing messaging is consistent with Nestlé Group Guidance and in-line with Purina Europe strategy
- Ensuring PFME is planned against EMENA strategic priorities and managed effectively and efficiently driving focus on working media and avoiding the creation of local intangibles.
- Work with the Senior Brand Manager on managing the development & execution of the Innovation & Renovation Pipeline.
- Ensuring the relationship with key media and creative partners is healthy and productive.
- Ensuring digital and social are embedded in brand communication plans.
- Being a key member of the UK marketing team and ensuring the execution of annual brand targets.
- Co-ordinating local commercial stakeholders to ensure brand projects are delivered on time, within budget and in keeping with guidelines set by the principal.
- Playing an active role in the UK brand marketing team to drive synergies across the teams.
- Engaging with all other internal stakeholders managing all subjects related to the brand
- Supporting building Purina as an aspirational place to work for marketing professionals
What will make you successful?
To be successful in this role you will already have some fantastic marketing experience under your belt. Ideally, you will be already working in a Brand Manager or Assistant Brand Manager role currently. You will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for the brands, you will have strong project management and analytical skills. You will need to be highly organised, conscientious and a team player. Pro-activity and enthusiasm are essential elements for this role as is proven leadership capability and creative thinking. You’ll also:
- Have the ability to influence at senior levels both internally and externally.
- Demonstrate strong presentation skills, targeting a wide audience from customers to internal stakeholders.
- Be able to run sizable projects and work streams from concept to delivery.
- Have prior knowledge of running multi-pronged communications programmes, with focus on below-the-line activations
- Be able to demonstrate your experience of leading new product launches, and/or working on challenger brands
