Job Overview
We are recruiting for an Asset Maintenance Manager to join our Coffee Packaging department. This is a permanent, full-time role reporting to the Area Manager. The manager is accountable for engineering leadership, maintaining equipment reliability and implementing preventive maintenance strategies across the coffee manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of employees and the safe condition of process equipment.
- Lead, manage and develop a highly technical team of engineers.
- Maintain competency building plans and assessments that are routinely reviewed and executed.
- Plan, perform and manage modifications and improvements to production lines, equipment and infrastructure.
- Support the operation of Coffee Packaging to ensure efficiency, quality and compliance, while upskilling the operational team.
- Manage and optimise the M&I budget.
- Support the Energy and Sustainability roadmap for the factory, implementing technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Preferably a degree in a relevant engineering subject, or at least a HNC or equivalent qualification.
- Solid background in engineering and asset maintenance, ideally in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with experience coaching technical managers and technicians.
- Ability to lead a team in delivering reliability and compliance in all elements of manufacturing excellence.
- Effective working relationship with equipment suppliers and contractors.
- Practical, proactive approach with willingness to learn new processes and ways of working.
- Passion for people development and delivering results through competency development.
