Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Out of Home (OOH) team here at Nestlé Professional on a 12 month fixed term contract as Account Manager on the Buying Groups team to lead, manage and grow a portfolio of key buying group customers. This is a high-profile role where you will drive and accelerate our Food and Beverage portfolio, delivering solutions for all key Foodservice sectors.

A day in the life: Account Manager will have direct responsibility for delivering the Buying Group strategy, collaborating with the Route To Market (RTM) Field Sales, and Beverage & Food CBUs and driving its execution in target customers. You will work with the Activation team to deliver added value to the customer execution and develop activation (including digital) and customer plans.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on key business objectives and grow sales of wholesalers / members of Buying Group customers, aligned with the Buying Group strategy.
  • Develop Joint Business and Execution Plans with the customer sales teams.
  • Drive penetration and other business development initiatives based on Buying Group strategy, strategic priorities and local market characteristics across Nestlé Professional portfolio.
  • Work with the Activation team to deliver added value to customer execution and develop activation (including digital) and customer plans.
  • Monitor and analyse performance and growth by key customer; develop corrective or accelerating actions to achieve objectives.
  • Support Foodservice category strategy development and execution.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales to ensure execution of Bidfood strategy within RTM and provide required support to RTM Field Sales teams to drive growth in priority channels.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven track record of sales in the FMCG/Foodservice industry.
  • Experience working with Buying Groups; wholesalers\’ experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to deliver on KPIs, including top and bottom line results.
  • Established Key Account management skills focused on collaboratively driving Joint Business plans at the top level with the customer and Nestlé Professional.
  • Analytical ability to build insights from data and develop plans for opportunities.
  • Understanding of the link between Supply, Category, Finance and Sales.
  • Ability to motivate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Influencing and networking across a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including senior levels.
  • Negotiation experience.
