Location: Tutbury Factory, Derbyshire

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday rotating on a 2-shift system – Week 1 6am - 2pm, Week 2 12pm – 8pm.

We are recruiting for an Engineering Technician within our Workshop, based at our Tutbury Factory. This is a permanent opportunity which will report into the Workshop Manager.

Your impact:

  • You will be responsible for effectively maintaining and developing equipment and systems within the Workshop in a manner that upholds the quality of the operation with regards to production output, product quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Maintenance of site equipment and systems in accordance with health and safety, quality and food hygiene standards.
  • Support with the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of all equipment as and when required.
  • Provide quick and effective reactive breakdown maintenance of site equipment.
  • Effective communication with all key stakeholders to ensure departmental goals/priorities are achieved.

Your ingredients for success:

  • Must have a Time Served Apprenticeship to a minimum of NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds or equivalent, ideally with a Mechanical background.
  • Will be self-motivated to work alone or part of a team.
  • Experience of various types of workshop machinery, including Lathe, Miller etc is essential.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
