We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Industrial Services Engineer to join our Princes Gate production facility in Pembrokeshire. A day in the life of an Electrical Industrial Service Engineer:
As the Electrical Industrial Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal cost, highly efficient, quality, and sustained generation and distribution of utilities for our factory operation. This includes overseeing the refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, hygienic air handling, and compressed air systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct general electrical repairs, replacements, and installations across the factory, including lighting, emergency lighting, and sockets.
- Perform routine maintenance checks such as emergency lighting, air leak detection, and ladder inspections.
- Support the operation of industrial services to ensure high efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Assist in budgeting and cost monitoring of industrial services.
- Identify and drive energy and water-saving opportunities.
- Manage quality, environmental, and internal and external compliance requirements through management and monitoring processes and routines.
What will make you successful?
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Electrical installation or equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2382 (18th edition).
- 2391 Testing & Inspection or equivalent.
- Proven experience in electrical industrial service engineering.
- Strong electrical repair and installation skills.
- Knowledge of refrigeration, water treatment, and compressed air systems.
- Ability to conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of quality, environmental, and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
