Shift Description: 06:00 – 18:00 & 18:00 – 06:00. 12 hours shifts, days and nights across a 6-week rota schedule. This is a permanent role with compensation distributed over 12 months. The workload will primarily be concentrated over an 8 to 9-month period, during which the average weekly hours will be approximately 42. Over the full 12-month period, the average weekly hours will be around 32.65.

We are currently looking for a Standard Operator to join our fantastic production team at our Halifax site in West Yorkshire. Your ingredients for success:

As a Standard Operator your main accountability will be to achieve performance targets by operating machines and systems. In addition to this, you will be ensuring that the process runs at its optimum, producing high quality product and coordinating actions where necessary.

  • Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure high safety and quality standards are adhered to in order to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Operational Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the safe & efficient running of production lines. Ensuring routines and standards are maintained and improved.
  • Performance and KPI Management: Support with factory activities in order to achieve KPIs.
  • Professional Development: To enhance your skill set, you will be working in all areas of the production plant based on your skills development.
