Your impact: As a Demand and Supply Planner you will own the end-to-end planning of a range of our Purina portfolio. You will create an accurate sales forecast working collaboratively with the generating demand team. You will liaise with the factory planning team to build a supply plan that delivers our commercial aspiration. The key objectives will be to maintain a strong level of availability of our products (on-shelf and online) for our customers and shoppers; and generate robust sales projections for the business. You will engage with a wide variety of stakeholders across all areas: Factory planning, Sales, Category, Marketing and Finance.
These are some of the areas you will be involved in delivering:
- Plan, develop & own the rolling 18-month APO demand plan by SKU, week and location. You will use statistical forecast as a demand pattern input before enhancing the plan with major customer events and category insights.
- Contribute to the MBP Process to ensure our APO demand plan enables us to deliver our brands, category and customer ambitions.
- Proactively identify stock projection outside of agreed policy (under-stock / over-stock) and work on mitigation plans with our factory planning teams.
- Communicate future service risk to our Commercial and Customer Facing Supply Chain teams.
Your ingredients for success: You’ll demonstrate great passion, initiative and tenacity to deliver against ambitious targets. This is an essential role for the business and requires cross-functional collaboration across a number of areas in the business. We’re looking for candidates with at least one experience across the end-to-end Supply Chain, preferably in Demand Planning, Product Supply or Customer Facing Supply Chain.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated analytical skills; the ability to synthesise multiple data sources to create insights and recommended actions.
- Good level of communication and influencing others.
- Excellent Excel skills and it would be advantageous to have experience working with and analysing using Power BI.
- Open to change; challenges current processes and generates innovative suggestions to improve current ways of working.
