Position Summary

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for aBusiness Account Manager to join our Nestlé Health Science Sales team and drive distribution and brand awareness of the portfolio of NHSc Consumer Care (CC) brands in existing and new Prestige Retailer accounts in order to drive profitable growth. Our Prestige customers include John Bell & Croyden, Pharmacy @ Harrods, Pharmacy @ Selfridges, Wholefoods Market and Planet Organic.

Consumer Care includes both VMHS (Vitamins, Minerals and Herbal supplements) and Active Nutrition. The portfolio of seven brands includes, Solgar, Vita Proteins, Pure Encapsulations, Minami, Nature’s Bounty, Garden of Life and Nuun hydration.

Reporting directly to the Head of Field Sales, you will be responsible for managing excellent execution of the portfolio, promotional activities, pricing & agreements and evaluating performance; and analysing sales data and insight including order tracking and external data to feed into forecast assumptions and delivery of sales targets by customer and by territory.

You will also have responsibility for the execution of the VMHS Category Strategy and implementation of relevant sales drivers across the prestige customer base.

A day in the life of a Business Account Manager …

You will manage business systems including customer CRM for all Consumer Care customers providing insight and support to the Head of Field Sales to accurately forecast the Consumer Care business and drive performance and profitable growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to delivery of Consumer Care commercial targets
  • Deliver customer specific KPIs to include sales value & volume, trade spend contribution, new business and distribution of key lines for the Consumer Care portfolio of brands
  • Key point of contact for Nestlé Health Science Consumer Care customers. Demonstrate autonomy to manage joint business plans to drive profitable growth. Prioritise customer meetings where the opportunities are to deliver against strategic imperatives taking a consultative approach. Provide analysis where required to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Adherence to promotional guidelines and on-going evaluation of all customer investment. All trade spend should be in line with the Brand & Business Strategy. Regular trade spend reviews with Sales Operations & Head of Field Sales to manage budget.
  • Create and deliver a strategy aligned to the business strategic imperatives and category strategy. Always leading with a category first approach, win distribution in existing and new business while delivering first class, excellent execution in conjuction with brand campaigns and aspirations.
  • Daily analysis & insight of Customer orders and tracking to drive visibility and awareness of current monthly and forecasted sales position. Share reports and customer performance updates for use in Commercial Review
  • Contribute insight and data for the monthly review of volume, plans, NPS, NNS & TAs as part of the monthly business process. Provide regular updates to the Head of Field Sales identifying risks and opportunities to drive the maximum potential.
  • Deliver channel relevant category strategy aligned to business priorities

  • Stakeholder Management skills including experience leveraging Nestlé in the Market (NIM) and External Partners
