We have a fantastic opportunity to join Purina as a Breeder Manager. In this role you will drive the acquisition and retention of dog and cat breeders by effectively communicating the benefits of our breeder programme, providing individual support and helping to facilitate new owner recommendations.
A day in the life of a Breeder Manager …
Reporting to the Head of Breeder, your key responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain knowledge of animal health and nutrition across Purina brands to be seen as a credible and trusted source of information for breeders.
- Engage and convert new, high quality, breeders to our Purina Breeder Programmes (PRO PLAN Dog, Cat and BETA).
- Drive Breeder recommendations.
- Represent Purina at all relevant shows (up to 10 weekends per year).
- Proactively manage breeder database, driving compliance, reducing fraud and driving purchase.
- Use insight and data to continually suggest improvements, efficiencies and overall drive better experiences for breeders on our programmes.
What will make you successful?
To be successful, you will have already demonstrated successful performance within sales and ideally have personal experience of dog breeding and showing.
You will be passionate about building high value customer relationships, be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and have a strong and determined focus on delivering results.
You will be self-driven and happy to work remotely, with flexibility to work regular weekends to attend shows and events, including extensive travel across the UK for up to 10 shows, such as Crufts.
