Overview:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Finance Manager to lead a Finance team based in our York office. The Sales Finance team supports all UK sales teams and the Order to Cash end‑to‑end process, working closely with Commercial Excellence, Sales Controlling and the Order to Cash Centres of Competence (CoC) and Scale (CoS) to provide best‑in‑class finance support, governance and continuous improvement.
Your impact:
As a Sales Finance Manager you will enthusiastically support your team, promoting a continuous improvement mentality and providing high‑level service to relevant NiM categories in the UK. You will lead a team of approximately 13 members and work closely with Order to Cash CoC/CoS to optimise the end‑to‑end process.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive team capability and instil a right‑first‑time mindset
- Achieve lead time targets for deduction clearance
- Support resolution of customer disputes
- Manage aged accruals in a timely, rapid fashion
- Settle trade spend events in a timely fashion to support post‑evaluation
Qualifications and ingredients for success:
You will have a track record of motivating and developing people, demonstrated success in a ‘Commercial Finance’ role, and strong influencing, communication, networking and analytical skills. Previous line‑management experience (either at Nestlé or prior) is preferable.
