Position Summary
We are recruiting for a Business Account Manager to join the Nestlé Health Science Sales team and drive distribution and brand awareness of the NHSc Consumer Care portfolio in existing and new Prestige Retailer accounts to drive profitable growth. Prestige customers include John Bell & Croyden, Pharmacy @ Harrods, Pharmacy @ Selfridges, Wholefoods Market and Planet Organic. Consumer Care includes VMHS (Vitamins, Minerals and Herbal supplements) and Active Nutrition. The portfolio includes seven brands: Solgar, Vita Proteins, Pure Encapsulations, Minami, Nature’s Bounty, Garden of Life and Nuun hydration.
Reporting to the Head of Field Sales, you will manage the portfolio execution, promotional activities, pricing & agreements, and evaluate performance; analyse sales data and insights to forecast and deliver sales targets by customer and territory. You will also execute the VMHS Category Strategy and implement relevant sales drivers across the prestige customer base.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to delivery of Consumer Care commercial targets
- Deliver customer-specific KPIs including sales value & volume, trade spend contribution, new business, and distribution of key lines for the Consumer Care portfolio
- Act as key point of contact for Nestlé Health Science Consumer Care customers; manage joint business plans to drive profitable growth and provide analysis to customers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to promotional guidelines and evaluate all customer investments; manage trade spend with regular reviews with Sales Operations & Head of Field Sales
- Create and deliver a strategy aligned to business imperatives and category strategy; lead with a category-first approach to win distribution and execute brand campaigns
- Conduct daily order analysis and provide visibility of current and forecasted sales; share reports for Commercial Review
- Provide data for monthly reviews of volume, plans, NPS, NNS & TAs; identify risks and opportunities to maximise potential
- Deliver channel-relevant category strategy aligned to business priorities
What Will Make You Successful
- Sales experience in healthcare, consumer/retail/pharmacy/FMCG/high-end consumer goods channels
- Passionate, tenacious, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Stakeholder management skills including experience with Nestlé in the Market (NIM) and external partners
- Experience managing CRM and internal dashboards; self-starter with proactive initiative
- Resilient with a can-do attitude, open to diverse perspectives
- Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity; able to identify opportunities and implement action plans
- Strong quantitative/analytical skills and understanding of financial management and KPI targets
