We are recruiting for an Industrial Services Engineering Technician to join the engineering team to support with boiler operations, plant maintenance of steam, refrigeration, effluent and coffee grounds handling from a proactive and reactive perspective. This is a permanent role, reporting directly into the Industrial Services Manager.
Your impact:
Ultimately, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations and maintenance functions across the Tutbury manufacturing plant. This will include a focus on boiler operations, plant maintenance of steam, refrigeration, effluent and coffee grounds handling.
Your other key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out daily preventative maintenance tasks.
- Reacting to breakdowns with a sense of urgency and safety.
- Using SAP system to capture work orders and sign off tasks.
- Working on engineering improvement projects.
Your ingredients for success:
We’re looking for an experienced engineering technician and enthusiastic person to join our team. You will need to be a flexible individual with excellent attention to detail to succeed in our fast-paced environment.
Other key attributes include:
- Advanced apprenticeship or equivalent qualification is essential – NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum standard, ideally with an Electrical bias.
- HNC in similar discipline would be desirable but is not essential.
- Previous experience working in an automated manufacturing/industrial service process.
- Good knowledge of asset maintenance.
- Knowledge of TPM.
- Knowledge of boiler house maintenance and operations would be desirable as would knowledge working with industrial refrigeration plant.
