Position Snapshot
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Health and Wellbeing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that transform the health of our colleagues, aligning with current business needs and future goals. You will play a crucial role in evolving our occupational health standards and wellbeing policies, ensuring safe and competent practices across our organisation. You’ll manage 2 direct reports with a team of 6 indirect reports.

A day in the life of Health & Wellbeing Manager
This is an exciting opportunity where you can have great impact on the creation and execution of a comprehensive health and wellbeing strategy that meets the needs of our workforce today and prepares for future challenges.
You will;
- Develop and refine occupational health standards and health and wellbeing policies to foster a safe and healthy work environment.
- Work closely with HR, Safety, and Operations teams to identify trends and implement effective solutions that promote employee health and safety.
- Leverage your expertise to enhance physical and psychological working environments, ensuring they are conducive to employee wellbeing.
- Contribute to Nestlé\’s broader health and wellbeing strategies, collaborating internationally to share best practices and advance our global health and wellbeing agenda.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including industry groups, health organizations, and regulatory bodies, to contribute to broader discussions on the development of employee health in the UK and Ireland. Build partnerships that support our initiatives and promote best practices in employee wellbeing.
What Will Make You Successful
To be successful ideally, you’ll be able to demonstrate fantastic communication and influencing skills across a range of different stakeholder levels whilst being able to challenge the status quo when needed. You’ll have a curious approach to everything you do, a tenacity to succeed and an ability to understand how you impact the wider business performance are all essential for this role
- You will have proven experience in health and wellbeing management and occupational health.
- Relevant clinical qualifications in Occupational Health, with a higher qualification in Occupational Health registered with the NMC. SPCHN (OH)
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to analyse trends and implement effective solutions.
