The Third-Party Risk Manager role will play a key role within the Strategic Sourcing Team, particularly in the implementation of formal 3rd Party Risk management, associated initiatives, mitigations and reporting. The role will act as the lead contact with Nest's Risk directorate, ensuring consistency of approach to risk and best practice is applied to Nest's Procurement & Supply chain management activities. The role will produce risk data relevant to 3rd parties along with recommendations for risk mitigation and continuous improvement in procurement, contracting and contract management.

Key Responsibilities

  • The role will oversee a key new activity within the Strategic Sourcing Team.
  • It is an exciting time to join the function as the Director of Strategic Sourcing is looking to make a significant amount of change and enhancement in each of the areas but also looking for synergies and alignment across the Directorate.

Qualifications

  • Experience in implementation of 3rd Party/Supplier Risk management approaches across commercially developing organisations.
  • Experience in understanding complex commercial arrangements and the risks inherent within them.
  • Detailed knowledge of the rules, regulations and ethical standards set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  • Experience influencing colleagues & suppliers to embrace changes in approach.

  • Hybrid of office (Canary Wharf, London) and home working (with expectation to attend the office once or twice a week, or more, as required).
