Responsibilities

  • You'll be responsible for the definition and documentation of clear functional and non‑functional requirements, end‑to‑end customer journey mapping, and proactively identify pain points and opportunities to improve the member experience.
  • Translate business and proposition‑level needs into robust, customer‑centred solutions.
  • Influence decision‑making, support new proposition development, and drive continuous improvement across our existing products and services.
  • Work as a key member of the Member (B2C) product team, collaborating with product, design, senior stakeholders and our delivery partner to shape and evolve complex products and services.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating as a business analyst.
  • Strong demonstrable experience in the occupational/defined contribution pension environment.
  • Demonstrated use of various business analyst techniques.
  • Awareness of risk management.
  • Experience working in multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Detail oriented but able to step back and consider the bigger picture.
  • Strong pensions knowledge, exceptional attention to detail and well‑honed critical thinking skills.
  • Confidence operating at both strategic and delivery levels.

The Customer Experience team creates user‑focused experiences by combining product ownership, design thinking, and business insight. We prioritise delivering value through continuous feedback from customers and colleagues. Prototypes and mock‑ups help us test ideas and refine experiences, while data guides our decisions and solution design. The team is split across two product teams and a service design team, with product owners leading domains and a service design team supporting evolution of our service design and continuous improvement.
