The Sourcing Business Partner role is a trusted advisor to Nest Invest (NI), providing early commercial and procurement advice and identifying opportunities to create better value and opportunity for NI. The role manages and delivers pipelines of procurement activities and collaborates with other business partners across the organisation to ensure procurement activity meets business needs and is compliant with relevant regulations.
The minimum criteria for this role are:
- Good understanding of Managing Public Money and compliance with PCR 2015, PA 2023 and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Extensive experience of commercial Business Partnering, acting as a trusted partner, providing strong strategic support to internal stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the investment management industry.
- Experience in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments, preferably in financial services or asset management.
- Strong commercial evaluation ability (pricing analysis, cost drivers, benchmarking).

This role would be responsible for delivering core activity within the Strategic Sourcing Team in support of sourcing and commercial activity carried out on behalf of Nest Invest. Nest Invest was established in 2019 and authorised as an Occupational Pension Scheme (OPS) firm by the FCA in 2020. OPS firms undertake investment management on behalf of a trustee or pension scheme and have the ability to manage more complex investment decisions and tasks in-house.
