This is a newly created role as Senior Enterprise Risk Manager. The role will embed and maintain an effective Enterprise Risk Management Framework across Nest Invest as the specialist for Enterprise Risk within the Investment business. The role involves close collaboration with risk/control owners, senior management, and the Nest Invest Risk and Compliance Committee. This includes maintaining and embedding the Nest Invest Risk Management Framework, providing objective oversight and challenge, and enabling risk-informed decision-making aligned to Nest Invest’s strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and hands-on 2nd line Senior Enterprise Risk Manager with strong knowledge of Financial Services regulation, ideally Pensions or Investment Management. The role requires someone who can think intuitively and autonomously, with strong influencing skills to engage effectively with others, provide direction and challenge where required, and build and maintain relationships. Experience of shaping Enterprise Risk Frameworks is advantageous, but the ability and interest to embed them in the business and develop a risk management culture are important.

The Investment directorate (Nest Invest) is responsible for investing members’ contributions to grow retirement pots over the long term. The team’s responsibilities include asset allocation and portfolio risk management, manager selection and monitoring, responsible investment, investment communications, fund administration, investment technology and financial modelling, and contributing to the development of the investment proposition.
