This role sits at the heart of NEST’s direct marketing activity, responsible for shaping and delivering high-impact B2B and B2C email marketing that strengthens engagement, improves retention and drives long-term customer value.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver integrated B2B and B2C email marketing strategies that drive engagement, retention, and long-term customer value.
- Lead the design and execution of test-and-learn programmes to assess the impact of messaging, creative, content, timing, and channel mix, using insights to optimise performance.
- Oversee the technical operation of core email marketing platforms and customer databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and full compliance with data protection requirements, including the management of monthly data uploads.
- Produce regular campaign and channel performance reporting for the Senior Direct Marketing Manager and key stakeholders, including insight into budget allocation and effectiveness where required.
- Partner with Senior Marketing Partners and internal teams to plan and deploy direct marketing activity supporting new B2C and B2B proposition launches.
- Ensure all marketing communications meet quality standards and are fully aligned with NEST’s brand guidelines.
- Project manage the end-to-end delivery of direct marketing initiatives, collaborating with internal stakeholders, external strategic partners, in-house creative teams, agencies and suppliers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and expert B2B and B2C marketing insight.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the Data Protection Act, GDPR, TPR regulations and other relevant legislation, applying NEST policies across all marketing activity.
- Manage purchase orders accurately and track marketing spend against allocated budgets.
Minimum Criteria
- Experience managing end‑to‑end email marketing processes across both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Experience engaging with a large existing customer base and CRM, with a good understanding of email marketing best practice, and hands‑on experience of creating email journeys and communications.
- Minimum 2 years’ (or equivalent) hands‑on experience with CRM and ESPs; experience with MS Dynamics and Click Dimensions (now called Click) preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to influence and garner support from both peers and senior stakeholders.
