The People & Culture team is responsible for ensuring that Nest has the right culture, capacity and capability to deliver on our Corporate Strategy and achieve our purpose – financial peace of mind for all. Serving our members and our communities requires us to take an Enterprise-wide approach to sustainability (in environmental, social and governance terms), keeping our members and our purpose at the centre of our goals while driving meaningful progress across the whole organisation.

We’ve made a strong start with our approach to diversity, equity and inclusion internally, and more broadly in our industry, with significant progress towards our DE&I targets. Now we need to develop a coherent and consistent set of principles that will articulate the Nest point of view and enable targets to be set across a broader range of Sustainability goals that will drive action and align enterprise-wide activity, reporting and culture – from colleague experience through to member impact.

Our People & Culture ambition is to create the best possible working lives for our colleagues, modelling the high standards of stewardship we hold for our members’ investments, and in doing so help to build a more sustainable and inclusive financial system.
