The Network Engineer will report directly to the Engineering Manager.
As Network Engineer, you will be responsible for creating network blueprints, ensuring efficient connectivity, and working closely with infrastructure and security teams to support business and operational needs. This role requires a skilled and detail-oriented Network Design Engineer to design, implement, and optimize high-performing computer networks for our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and resilient network architectures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, cloud, etc.).
- Produce detailed network diagrams, schematics, and documentation.
- Evaluate network hardware and software and make recommendations based on technical and business needs.
- Collaborate with network operations and security teams to ensure compliance with security protocols and business continuity.
- Implement configuration, and testing of networking equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers with end client.
- Develop and maintain network standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to design, performance, and integration.
- Support pre-sales by providing technical guidance and network designs for bids or proposals.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, JNCIE, or similar preferred.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, etc.).
- Proven experience in network design and architecture (typically 3–5+ years).
- Experience with enterprise-level hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Proficient in network analysis and simulation tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, GNS3).
