Part time (14.8 hours per week) / September 2026 start

You will play a key role in delivering and developing specialist programmes, including:

  • Level 5 Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection
  • Level 6 Higher Diploma in Food Control (supporting delivery)
  • Development of a new Level 4 pathway to support progression into Level 5

What we are looking for:

  • You will have current or recent experience in Environmental Health, ideally within food safety or regulatory services
  • A strong understanding of food premises inspection and enforcement is essential
  • Passion for teaching, learning, and supporting learners into professional roles
  • Relevant professional qualification (CIEH-accredited or equivalent)
  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)

Duties/responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, innovative teaching across Environmental Health programmes
  • Support learners in developing both technical knowledge and practical inspection skills
  • Contribute to curriculum development, including new programme design
  • Prepare learners for professional practice in food safety and regulatory enforcement
  • Bring current industry experience into the classroom to enhance learning
